TUESDAY: On the way of spring: Over the mountains from valley to valley
Accompanied by the young alpinist and mountaineer Simon Gietl, you explore the most beautiful spring hikes surrounded by flowering alps and unspoiled nature. On the way Simon Gietl reports about his mountain experiences and at the rustic alpine huts you can taste the delicious, homemade, local dishes and enjoy the noonday sun.
WEDNESDAY: Feel the power of water: Kneipp treatments for body and soul
Kneipp health coach Roswitha Rainer explains the five active principles of priest Sebastian Kneipp at the idyllic recreation area "Schneider Waldile" in Val Casies Valley/Colle. She reveals what you can do to conservate your health and well - being.
THURSDAY: The privileges of the ox: Culinary spring hike with Star Chef Herbert Hintner through the most juicy alps
The hiking guide Andreas accompanies you on this hike through the awakening nature to the Kradorfer Alm hut situated at the head of the Val Casies Valley. You will be informed about alpine farming, the rural life on farm and about the traditional oxen keeping. At the Kradorfer Alm hut Star Chef Herbert Hintner creates a typical ox menu. Local food prepared with regional, healthy products and refined with fresh spring herbs - a marvelous energy source and a unique pleasure moment.
FRIDAY: Mother's kitchen on the castle: the good old times
This hike leads on a sunny path through the fresh forest air to the Castle Welsperg. In the historic castle, you will immerse yourself in the life of the past and experience the preparation of traditional dishes. The local farmers of the Val Casies Valley will show you in the castle kitchen how to prepare and enjoy typical, healthy and local dishes from old times.
