Farmhouse visit at Voadohuibm in St. Magdalena/Gsies

This is how our ancestors lived and survived on their small mountain farms. The nature and landscape guide Eduard Hofmann, explains what life was like at the ‘olte Voadohiubn Haus’. He will demonstrate a number of old tools and typical equipment, which were used on the farm. He will also give you valuable insight into the life of the older generation in South Tyrol.

Messner Mountain Museum CORONES

With the MMM Corones project, Kronplatz has now written another historic chapter which adds a distinct cultural flavour to this outstanding example of Alpine competence. Inaugurated in 2015 the MMM Corones is an exciting new milestone. (30 min. by car + cable car)

Messner Mountain Museum RIPA

The museum was opened by the well-known mountaineer, Reinhold Messner, in Bruneck Castle. With the interactive "MMM Mountain Peoples" project, Reinhold Messner aims not to "exhibit" people, but rather to invite them to take part in an exchange of experience with the local rural population, using countless exhibits from everyday life. Castel of Tures

The particular homey character of the feudal Taufers Castle astonishes around 75,000 visitors every year. As early as 1136 a noble-free family is named Taufers. The guided tour covers the castle complex plus over 20 furnished show rooms such as the Cardinal's Room, the Knights' Hall and Chamber of Armory, the "torture chamber", the prison and the "Ghost Room".
