Wellness area etiquette guide
01. Enjoy some peace and quiet

Hotel Quelle

Our wellness area invites you to relax and find inner peace. Ringing phones or loud conversations can disrupt your relaxation. We therefore recommend switching off your mobile phone or not using it at all – ideally, leave it outside.

This will allow you to focus fully on the moment and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere undisturbed.

02. Dress code in the wellness area – nude zones

To ensure you can fully enjoy your stay with us, we ask that you wear a bathrobe and slippers in the public areas of the wellness area. Swimwear is required in the pool areas.

Special rules apply to the sauna:

nude areas are clearly marked, as they ensure a relaxed, hygienic and health-promoting sauna experience.

Synthetic fabrics in swimwear can release harmful substances in high heat, which can affect both the air quality in the sauna and your well-being. Without clothing, sweat and bacteria are wicked away directly from the skin, creating a clean indoor environment.
Direct skin contact with the hot air also ensures that your body sweats optimally, circulation is stimulated and natural detoxification processes are supported.

For anyone who feels uncomfortable in the sauna or in nude areas,

towels or sauna kilts are available. These allow you to maintain your privacy without losing the beneficial effects of the sauna.

03. Golden rules for enjoying the sauna

To ensure that all guests can relax and enjoy the sauna, please observe the following rules:

  • The sauna is cardiovascular exercise
A sauna session should not exceed 15–20 minutes, particularly at high temperatures.

  • Preparation
Shower thoroughly before entering the sauna and ensure you are completely dry before stepping inside. Avoid cold feet: if necessary, take a warm foot bath beforehand.

  • Clothing and hygiene
For hygiene reasons, please enter the sauna without clothing.
Always use a towel or special sauna towel to cover your entire seating or lying area.

  • Towel requirement
The towel protects the wooden surfaces from sweat and ensures hygiene.

  • Keep your distance
Keep a sufficient distance from other guests so that everyone can enjoy their relaxation.

  • Quiet and consideration
Enter and leave the sauna quietly and considerately.
Mobile phones must be left outside – peace and relaxation are the priority in the sauna.

  • Hot-cold-hot
Cooling off in the plunge pool, under the shower or in the snow sauna strengthens the blood vessels and the body’s resistance. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids before and after your sauna session.

  • Stomach and diet
Do not enter the sauna immediately after a heavy meal or on an empty stomach. Opt for light meals that do not put a strain on the stomach.

  • Allow plenty of time
A visit to the sauna is intended to promote physical and mental relaxation. You should avoid rushing from one cabin to the next.

  • Rest period
Spending 15 minutes in the relaxation area or the hot tub aids recovery. Avoid exercising immediately after a sauna session.

04. How to behave in the relaxation room

The relaxation room is a place where you can unwind and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. To ensure that all guests can enjoy this peace and quiet, we ask that you:

  • Switch your mobile phone off or set it to silent, and refrain from making calls.
  • Speak quietly so as not to disturb the relaxed atmosphere.
  • Move quietly and take care not to wake or disturb other guests.

05. Souvenir or theft? – What you’re allowed to take home

We’re delighted if you like our little gifts, such as soaps or toiletries, so much that you’d like to take them home with you – they’re meant for you. Everything else, such as towels, bathrobes or decorative items, is part of the hotel’s inventory and should please be left on the premises.

06. Sun loungers by the pool – should you reserve them or not?

06. Sun loungers by the pool – should you reserve them or not?

To ensure that all guests can enjoy the pool area in a relaxed atmosphere, we ask that you do not reserve sun loungers for extended periods. Towels left unattended for long periods will be removed by our team so that other guests also have the chance to secure a spot.

07. Wearing a bathrobe around the hotel

You are, of course, welcome to move comfortably between your room and the spa area in your bathrobe.

However, in the hotel’s public areas, such as the dining room, we ask that you wear appropriate clothing. An exception is made for the lunch and afternoon buffets, where bathrobes are permitted.

08. How do I book a spa treatment?

08. How do I book a spa treatment?

To ensure you get your preferred appointment, we recommend booking your beauty and spa treatments in advance from home.

  • By telephone: SPA reception on +39 0474 948 111 or internally on extension 101
  • By email: info@hotel-quelle.com or beauty@hotel-quelle.com

This allows us to ensure that your wellness programme is planned entirely according to your wishes.

09. I have booked a treatment – when should I arrive at the spa?

Please come to our spa reception a few minutes before your treatment, ideally already wearing your bathrobe. This will give you plenty of time to find your way around and start your session feeling relaxed.
Out of consideration for guests following you, please understand that if you are late, the duration of your treatment will have to be shortened accordingly.

10. Clothing for your massage

A bathrobe and slippers are perfectly adequate for your wellness treatment. Areas of the body not being treated will be covered by the masseur with towels, and you will also be provided with a disposable slip.

If you feel more comfortable, you are of course welcome to come to your treatment in a bikini or swimming trunks and keep them on during the session.

11. Health Information

To ensure we can provide you with the best possible and safest care, we ask that you inform us of any relevant health information. This information helps us to tailor your treatment as closely as possible to your individual needs.

This includes, for example:

  • Pre-existing conditions or medical history
  • Diabetes or other metabolic disorders
